I’m Brent! I joined the board in 2022 bringing with me a different view and over 20 years of experience in fire suppression, protection, and prevention in the public and private sectors. Currently, I am a captain in the fire prevention bureau with the Perkins Township Fire Department and a seasonal supervisor for the Cedar Point Safety Department.
My educational accomplishments include a B.S. in Fire Administration, an A.A.S in Fire Science, certifications as a firefighter, paramedic, fire inspector, training in various disciplines of technical rescue, and instructor level of various fire and EMS topics.
I reside in Huron with my wife Christa, who is a therapist with a local private practice, my toy poodle Maslow, and two daughters who are involved in many arts including local youth theatre and competitive dance.
When I am not chauffeuring or cheering on my children, I can be seen cruising around in a Jeep, standing inline for a roller coaster, enjoying music, or trying to see as many corners of the world as I can.
Lastly, Go Bills!
Hello there!
-Brent
